A new integrated approach to supporting individuals and families.

We would like to introduce you to our fresh and unique approach to ministry. We believe that God is dreaming about a community of loving, caring people, committed to live beyond themselves and their own needs; a community of gifted people caring for the needs of others around them; people prepared to make a Beautiful Noise in society for God by serving others. We intend to establish a Community Care Centre with links to various ministries and organisations in order to serve our communities more effectively. We pro-actively want to take note of socio-psychological trends and prepare solutions for what is anticipated to come. We therefore look at where trends tend to start, and try to follow them as they expand globally. We also want to track down practical and workable solutions that churches, ministries and organisations have come up with to meet these problems face-on. Upon these we would like to formulate our strategy. Although most of the individual aspects in our strategy has been tried and tested by us and others, to our knowledge, this will be the first time in South Africa (maybe anywhere in the world) that the full scale and complete integrated approach of this concept will be undertaken. We are extremely excited and motivated to make this concept really work effectively, as to have a model to present to a world in desperate need of practical solutions for ministry and upliftment of communities by communities. This will truly be a model for communities helping themselves out of their own challenges and problems.

Some of the challenges that will be addressed at Beautiful Noise Community Centre

    * People are becoming sicker mentally/psychologically.
    * Family relationships are crumbling.
    * People’s spiritual seeking is on the increase.
    * Secular Psychology always trying to stay morally neutral.
    * People’s ‘reason to live’ and ‘purposes for living’ (meaning of life) are on the decrease.
    * Most churches and ministries do not have the manpower, nor the necessary skills.
    * Churches find it increasingly challenging to connect with (post modern) people.
    * Many people can not afford therapeutic help.
    * More than half our adult population do not have a regular stable income.
    * Security issues have become our community’s challenge.

DEFINING OUR CENTRE’S CLIENT BASE / MARKET.

Our Centre is aimed at supporting all the people in our area, irrespective of their race, church affiliation, language preference, gender or income level. We intend to focus on the suburbs on our side of the city. We want to make ourselves and our facility available to all in need of our services. We hope that many organisations in our area will buy into becoming part of our referral network, as well as our support network. Here we especially think of our social workers, our doctors, our churches, our social and sport clubs, our schools and training institutes, our businesses, our residents, our whole community!

HOW DOES OUR CENTRE WORK?

    * Visionary leadership with the relevant knowledge, know-how and skills to lead a large team of professionals and volunteers to make a real difference in our community and beyond.
    * Quality management and organisation necessary to deliver a sustainable and effective flow of a variety of services.
    * Quality training and placement to compliment a growing high quality product.
    * Effective communication plans and drives to keep everyone in the clear on what is going on.
    * Ongoing motivation of the volunteer teams to keep everyone happy and to manage misunderstandings and hiccups. It is challenging to work with the problems of a society and keep a friendly and smiling face.
    * Consistent evaluation and feedback to keep strategising on improving our services.
    * God is the biggest and most important link in our chain of help. We will continue to rely heavily on Him for guidance and direction. His approval is our motivation and priority.
